TV ratings: 'Grey's Anatomy' up Thursday but 'American Idol' results decline


Fast National ratings for Thursday, April 19, 2012"American Idol's" results show dropped a little in Thursday's ratings after a bit of a resurgence last week, but the ratings news for some shows wasn't as glum as it has been in the past few weeks."Grey's Anatomy" hit its highest ratings in a couple of months for ABC, and "Scandal" continued to hold steady as well. "Parks and Recreation" returned to NBC with better numbers than recent originals. On the down side, "The Office" remained at a low ebb, and "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Secret Circle" were below average for The CW.Despite the "Idol" decline, FOX still led the night with just under 11 million viewers and a 6.8 rating/11 share in households.
