Question about Sylar?

He was "killed" at the end of the last episode, by Claire stabbing him with a piece of glass. Obviously, she put it in a spot able to kill someone, and since it was not removed he is dead until someone removes it, correct? That's how Claire's ability works at least. Now, Sylar is my favorite character. I've been hearing someone, a main character, wants out of the show. Is it the guy who plays Sylar? Maybe he really isn't coming back? I haven't seen previews for the next episode...but I can't imagine them permanently taking Sylar away.

They're not. Sylar will be in Season 4.

My guess is somehow that glass will be pulled out, but maybe we'll have a time where he doesn't emerge again to leave some question as to if he's "alive" or not. My best guess, like many other fans are guessing too, is that the actor who wants out is Ali Larter.

Man, I need to rewatch the last Chapter because I seem to have forgotten everything.
I do think its Ali Larter...she had little to no air time in chapter 3.

I was never a fan of Ali Larter anyway.I bet they do something to screw us over, like Arthur is back and pulls the glass out, while holding some magical mind control solution.. I can see something really weird happening.

One of the clues E Hollywood released about the Hero that will be leaving, is that they said fans will be upset. If it's Ali Larter, really, who cares? Lol. She is probably my least favorite since day one. And to El_Rodeo, I wouldn't be surprised if Arthur is alive either but would he help Sylar? After all, Sylar is the one who let the bullet hit him. Anyways, as long as Sylar stays, I'm happy =]

sylar is definitely not dead (thank god, love his character, especially his theme music xD), and i have a feeling he set an illumination of himself when claire stabbed him. in episode 11 on the beach he found on his cell phone a girl with all her information including that of her abilty to set illuminations. since we didnt actually see the hunt for this girl's power from sylar, this bit of the cell phone must be a hint to the explanation of how sylar is still alive in volume 4.
anyway thats my opinion

Lol, Chinabb, it is possible that he set an illusion...that would make sense as well. I don't have much longer to wait and find out.

...Except, Sylar doesn't have the ability of illusion. To suggest he somehow acquired that ability off-screen... I don't know, I just highly doubt that it is the case. The writers would've made sure the audience knew about that, just like all of his past ability thefts.

Unless they wanted to make the audience think he was more likely to be dead this time around, and plan on explaining how he gained the illusion ability later on. ;]

Well considering that the house he was in exploded, wouldnt it make sense for his body to explode too?
and i cant imagine the glass surviving if sylars body is blown into bits.
so it would be totally blasted out of his body and he could just heal
