'Dancing With the Stars' and 'The Bachelor' renewed for 2012-13 along with 'Shark Tank'


In one of the less surprising series-pickup announcements of the past week, ABC has renewed its flagship unscripted series "Dancing With the Stars" and "The Bachelor" for next season."Shark Tank" will also be back in 2012-13, and for the first time it's getting a 22-episode season. The show has grown in the ratings this season and made ABC a little more competitive on Friday nights."DWTS" has taken a ratings tumble this spring, but both weekly shows are still in the Top 10 in viewers and post solid numbers among in the adults 18-49 demographic (3.5 on Mondays and 3.1 on Tuesdays for the season). "The Bachelor" was off some too, but its averages (8.85 million viewers and a 2.9 in 18-49) make it pretty much a no-brainer."Shark Tank," meanwhile, has had its best season this year, averaging 6 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in the demo. It regularly leads its Friday timeslot in adults...
