Could ‘Unforgettable’ Get a Second Chance on Cable?

It looks like the recently canceled CBS drama Unforgettable could possibly be getting a second chance via cable.

According to a report at Deadline, Sony Pictures TV and CBS TV Studios, the producers of the CBS drama, have had "preliminary conversations with TNT and Lifetime about potentially picking up the series".

‘Unforgettable’ was one of the ‘closest calls’ of this TV season at this week’s upfront presentations to the New York advertisers simply because the show averaged 12 million viewers and a 2.5 among adults 18 to 49 years old. The ‘excuse’ (for lack of a better word) for the show’s cancellation is not a question of "what went wrong with (the show) but what went right with the new pilots", according to CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler.
