'Fact Or Faked: Paranormal Files' Investigations The Oregon Vortex

The penultimate episode of this season of "Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files" (Tue., 9 p.m. ET on Syfy) saw the team head for the famed Oregon Vortex. The attraction lures people from across the world to experience what are either optical illusions at a house of funky angles or paranormal phenomena.

The site is famed for brooms that stand on end and a spot where people's relative height seems to change based on where they're standing. And while the team had little trouble explaining most of what happened at the site due to the odd angles and perspectives, the height change thing was more problematic.

Even using angles to adjust for the odd angle the two people stand at, the relative change in their heights when they shifted from one side of another to the other seemed more dramatic that would be accounted for. In other words, that particular phenomenon rather stumped them. So the final verdict for the Oregon Vortex was mixed. Unanimous, though, was how much fun they had filming the episode at the popular attraction.

"Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files" wraps its season next Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Syfy.
