Messing with the Kid

I am sorry to say but 'Messing with the Kid' was borderline terrible.Cm'on OTH SHOW ME THE SPARK; What makes this show unmissable!

Oth hasn't been consistant lately i must say. I keep watching, WAITING for something interesting to happen. Sure, it was ÈcuteÈ. The Lucas and Peyton playful storyline was quite corky, but not enough to weigh out the bad stuff: Jamie. I strongly dislike his character. Not only is he a horible actor, he also ruins the show for me these days. WHAT DO YOU THINK??

im disappointed..

i actually really enjoyed this episode, one of my favourites of season 6 so far. i thort that the lucas/peyton thing was really good, and jamie was adorable also the relationship between sam and brooke is v.well written.

i think the jamie character is a wicked one, and Jackson is an awesome actor for his age. Yes there was some bad scenes in there, but it had funny scenes added to the story line, like when Haley was talking about her poncho. Also, I thought the Leyton story line was funny, and I laughed out loud when Lucas couldn't.... lets say when he couldn't perform.
Overall I would give it a 4/5

I agree with arie-othlover on Jamie. I think he is way too mature for his age, I mean come on, does any of you know a kid of 6 years behave and talk like that. It seems like he is so clever and wise, he's just not a kid anymore. Let him be more realistic. On this episode I disagree. It was the first in weeks i really enjoyed and could remember why I used to love watching OTH on end. Lately I didn't have the urge to watch every episode as soon as it came out. But this one really came up with some funny and interesting story lines. I like that Gigi and Owen are back, spice it up already!!!

Gotta agree 100% with u arie-othlover. this episode was dull and boring. that gripping fast moving storyline that set oth apart frm the rest was nowhere to be seen in this ep. just a bunch of filler plots with the cape and the leyton thing. only development was the brooke, sam, owen story line, and the mouth gg one and even they wasnt that interesting. gotta say season 6 has been quite gd uptill now, with the whole dan carry thing. maybe van der beek will make things mre interestin.

Nathan and Haley have become so dull they almost ruin the episodes. The Brooke/Sam storyline is fresh for the show, Lucas and Peyton's struggle was very entertaining, and I really liked seeing Gigi again. In season 5 I liked the Jaime character but now it's just not realistic to have him act like that. At the end when he said that some people lead and some people follow crap it sounded so stupid coming from a 5 year old. His character used to cute but now they're writing him so obnoxiously and almost arrogant.

IM sorrry, everyone has a right to their opinion but the fact that Jamie is cute doesnt make up for the fact that his character is NOT realistic .he delivers his line like a robot, and brings down haley and nathans sotryline completely. Come on . Im a diehard OTH fan. but they have a job to the the creators: stay true to the bvery essence of the show. For years they have came out with scarcely realistic and well done episode, mostly of their tragedies. Just because oth has a place in our hearts doesnt mean we shuldnt sdemand the best. im talking TRUE oth episodes. I can not name one ep. from seasons 1-4 where an episode of scene was dull of unecessary. Things are changing, and some for the worse. but i retract my first comment: borderline terrible. It was just at timesthanks for ur feedback guys.but cmon HEAR ME OUT?:)

i really can't believe this. i cried at the end. yeah the first half an hour wasn't as powerful, but look at what happend already for this season, and we're only at the seventh episode. it takes so much work and time and money for them to put on 42 minutes for us, i don't think it's right at all to say it was terrible. i think that it wasn't as powerful, but towards the end it was back to its original oth roots. i mean, i cried.
and for those of you who say jackson isn't a good actor, that's harsh. he's eight years old.and they want his part to be more mature. if you were a DIE HEART fan, you would know this because you would have watched the commentary on season five with mark. he goes to say that they wanted jamie to be mature and say wise remarks because he is always around adults.
i think it is so rude, completely out of line for people to say things like that.
just my opinion.

I actually liked this episode, too. I think it was definitely needed to slow the show down and reset everything for the new plots that are coming up. And it's a show which makes it unrealistic. There obviously aren't many kids like that in real life, plus Jackson is only seven or eight, so I definitely think he's much better than a lot of child actors around. Even though there wasn't much happening, I still liked it because the stories were clear and they were humorous, and it definitely reminded me of some of my favorite eps from the past like 4x17, when they went to rescue Mouth in Tx. The episode was pretty much meaningless to the plot, but I still really liked it.

some interesting points brought up, but i stick to what i said. Jamie is cute course he is a mature character but looking back on all the high school episodes the characters were way more mature then many high school students, its the way of the show.
The episode was good and was relaxing compared to all the recent drama over the season, i have a feeling next episode will bring in more drama. oh to those who think haley and nathan are boring now, i totally disagree just cos they arnt having sex or making out all the time on screen doesnt mean they are boring, they are a happy couple living their lives and building their dreams, how is that boring?

I can't believe all these negative reviews! In my opinion, this was a great OTH episode- more introspective and philosophical about living your dreams. And arie-othlover, how can you possibly call Jackson a horrible actor! Not only is he extremely poised and comfortable in front of the camera, he is able to express so many emotions! Besides, he's only 6 or 7 and very cute indeed.
