Welcome back Supernatural!

I know I wasn't alone in having serious withdrawal symptoms from Supernatural over the past couple of months, while trying to keep myself occupied by watching reruns.

Last night saw the return of Supernatural to our TV screens (Finally!!) and thankfully this episode did not dissappoint. (Phew!)

The episode starts with Sam and Dean in a psychologists office, spilling the beans on everything they've been up to in the past few years. Of course, all this confessing is in the name of business as the two brothers try to get admitted to the mental hospital in order to hunt a creature that's killing off patients. They soon discover that maybe the mental hospital is where they really belong after all...

If any fans were hoping for some Lucifer action in this episode then they will be dissappointed but otherwise this episode had everything fans love about Supernatural: Comedy, Drama, Violence and Suspense and of course a little bit of womanising.

So Supernatural fans its time to finally breathe a sigh of relief! Supernatural is back on our TV screens... and its just as good as ever.

"thankfully this episode did not dissappoint"
Speak for yourself, mate. I thought it was rather pointless. And no, we didn't have to dive straight back into devil fighting, but this was weak. This is probably my least favourite episode since Route 666 way back in season 1.
Just your run of the mill monster-of-the-weak ep, and not even a fun monster at that. Weak, very weak. And not enough humour to make up for the weak plot, either. And none of the many aspects of Supernatural I've missed over the winter break: No Bobby, almost no Impala, no diner scene, no open road, no vintage rock. And you'd think there'd be signs of the Apocalypse all over the place by now, wouldn't you? I mean, three seconds of a news show on TV would have done it, but nothing.

I know they are trying not to rush the Apocalypse but this episode had very little of anything I expect out of an episode of Supernatural. And what was with Sam's hair it was greasy and too long.

i gree the story was a bit weak but there were some good moments (pudding!)i also agree with the fact that people shud be starting to realie it's the appocalypse. i mea, the devil walks on eart but nothing seems to be happening, where is this appocalypse?also i've been finding it weird how easily dean got over being in hell since last season, i mean you'd think spending 40years being tortured and torturing people would fuck you up a bit more. i mean sure he drinks a lot and doesn't sleep but he should have gone way more nuts.
