Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion set for 'Firefly' Comic-Con panel


Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion are returning to Comic-Con -- but this summer they are debuting "Firefly." The "Avengers" helmer is heading up a Science Channel panel celebrating the 10th anniversary of his short-lived but beloved "space western" about a crew of bandits, or Browncoats, who commit all manner of unlawful activity aboard their rundown spaceship, "Serenity." (Also the title of a follow-up film based on the Fox TV series.)Joining Whedon and Fillion (now starring in "Castle") are co-executive producer Tim Minear and castmembers Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, Michael Fairman and "the rest of the crew of the 'Serenity,'" promises the network.
