Help Me! - House Season SIx Finale Review

It's the end of Season 6 already!

And the only thing I can think of right now is how can I get through the entire summer hiatus without new episodes from my favorite shows? Someone, please please help me!

Let me begin by saying that this episode was the best this season drama-wise. I know I'm such a sucker for drama. I've been a huge House-Cuddy, aka HUDDY fan for six years now and I have never been happier about them than now. Luckily I am not the only one who's hooked by their storyline. My brother saw this episode as it aired while I was working. He called my mom to tell me that this episode was soooo good, and he sent me a text message which I read after work.

I'm the Philippines. My brother is in California. He called for that. =)

Must've been really that exciting for him. Mind you, my brother does NOT get excited easily.

As I watched it when I got home, I found the episode rather dragging medical-wise. It was refreshing as House involved himself in a mass casualty, yet still managed to find something that puzzled him. But I was so excited about HUDDY. Let me explain.

Their hook up at the end of the episode is a major stir up for the HUddy community. I am sure everyone is looking forward to what happens next season. The moment Greg HOuse barged into Lisa Huddy's office disregarding the commotion outside, we knew he was trying to get Cuddy. Now their love story is long overdue. They deserve a chance. We, fans, deserve a chance. I sure had fun anticipating what the genius doctor with an incredibly bad bedside manner do next, as that brings humor to the show. However, six years is enough time to make him grow. If we were to approach it realistically, there would definitely be something like this in his life by now.

On the other hand, this could be to address their lost of good cast. As a woman, I am fine with just House and Chase around. Yes, Chase is hot. Could I say that again and again? But in fairness, I miss Cameron and since Thirteen will be taking a leave, I'm not sure how the ratings will pick up next season. Hence, they had to please the Huddy fans so they'll get their audience back. Good call!

Moreover, the very reason why House has been a hit has kind of been lost. House was so attractive and entertaining because he was so ill-mannered. But then again, since it has been six years, expectedly, he has mellowed down. The cases meanwhile, have become either boring, or esoteric for general viewers to understand. And for those who actually do get it--their lives are too busy trying to make money :)

Anyway, I am a huge Huddy fan and this was a major growth for House and Cuddy. So I'm giving this an 8/10 and I will, YES I will be looking forward to September. Until then, let's go get another life :p

I really enjoyed the finale. Though the episode before this one they were going for a complete break down of house. And did anyone notice the many layers in this episode. After losing his patient, he yelled at Foreman that he did everything he should have done, and nonetheless it turned out for worse with his case. Talk about karma. It was just the same with his life. He decided to do all the things good for a change, but he got burnt anyway. So I was kind of expecting him to go for the pills like last season. And it was like poetry when Cuddy came in to save the day.

"Thanks a lot", Huddy-shippers! I was enjoying the show about skeptical, misanthropic doctor- now you make it all about romance. Because of you writers bend the script to suit your desires.Finale episode was really great, except that last huddy scene. It totally ruined everything- and, I'm afraid, it.will totally ruin next season too. House holding smbds. hand -totally out of character... Cuddy breaking off her engagement in just like few minutes -yeah, that makes sense. Oh, but everything to keep you, guys, happy.Yeah, hate on me and caps-lock House+Cuddy all you like. It's just an opinion, which, I hope, at least someone shares.:(((
