The L.A. Complex Preview: Season 2 is Coming!

The first season of The L.A. Complex only lasted six episodes, but the show will be returning for a longer second season in both Canada and the U.S. on July 17.  Quite a few cliffhangers took place in the season 1 finale, including Raquel's discovery that she is pregnant (guess who the father is!) and Kaldrick's terrible beating of Tariq in order to protect his reputation and hide their relationship.  Plus, Abby decided to remain in L.A. instead of giving up acting and heading back to Toronto when she finally scored a job.

When season 2 premieres, Alan Thicke will be joining the cast in a recurring role as a producer who works with Abby and we'll also be introduced to a few new characters, including two siblings who move into The Lux.  Here's how The CW describes the season 2 premiere: "After the beating he gave Tariq (Benjamin Charles Watson), Kaldrick (Andra Fuller) sets out to make things right, only to find that Tariq has gone into hiding. Meanwhile, in the aftermath of the fire, Connor (Jonathan Patrick Moore) is eager to drown his sorrows and turns to Raquel (Jewel Staite) for comfort. But Raquel has her own issues as she faces life-changing news. Back at The Lux, Nick (Joe Dinisol) and Abby (Cassie Steele) take their relationship to the next level." Read More...
