'Dallas': Character Dies, But Is John Ross To Blame?

John Ross is a lot of bad things so far on the relaunched "Dallas" (Wed., 9 p.m. ET on TNT), but a murderer? It certainly looks suspicious that he walked away from a dead body in this week's episode, but viewers know the truth of what happened, even if police don't.

Marta Del Sol AKA Veronica Martinez hasn't been handling being rejected by John Ross very well, so she swiped Elena's cell phone and used it to trick him into coming to her hotel room. There, she had cameras set up to try and catch him doing something.

But John Ross wasn't falling for it, leaving her desperate and more than a little crazy. But she was perhaps right to want to align herself with him -- or anyone. After John Ross walked out a group of men were seen heading to her hotel room. And by the time he got downstairs, her body was lying dead on the roof of a car.

Later, the police showed up because witnesses described John Ross and his car fleeing the scene of that accident, which he did do. But will he somehow get set up for her murder? Will J.R. finally have to step in and admit John Ross maybe can't handle things on his own?

Find out as "Dallas" continues Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on TNT.
