John Noble's sleep disorder halts 'Fringe' Season 5 production


"Fringe" star John Noble is suffering from a sleep disorder which has forced the show's fifth season into a production hiatus. As reported yesterday, "Fringe" was put on hold this week to allow Noble and co-star Blair Brown to recover from illnesses. Production was expected to resume early next week, but Zap2it has confirmed that the "Fringe" cast and crew are now projected to return to work on August 7. Reportedly, the 63-year-old actor, who is beloved by fans and colleagues alike, has had trouble sleeping lately, and it's affected his performance on the show. The work stoppage has been ordered so that he can seek treatment for his condition.On Monday, Noble was expected to attend FOX's Television Critics Association Press Conference in Los Angeles, but was taken off the panel.
