‘Doctor Who’ Christmas 2012 Episode to Feature Big U.K. Stars

The longest-running TV show (ever!) – Doctor Who – will begin shooting its Christmas episode this week and among its guest stars will be actor, author and director Richard E. Grant and actor Tom Ward.

No details have been leaked as of yet as to the characters both actors will be playing, but fans can rest assured that the Christmas episode will be fantastical in nature filled with multi-layered characters and plot points. The holiday episode will be written by the show’s executive producer Steven Moffat and directed by Saul Metzstein.

Among Grant’s credits are the box office films ‘Dracula’, ‘The Age of Innocence’, ‘The Portrait of a Lady’, ‘Gosford Park’, ‘The Scarlet Pimpernel’, ‘Penelope’ and ‘The Iron Lady’.
