Nina Theroux has fallen into a bad way on Alphas, and during a recent conference call, TV Equals was on hand to learn more about Nina’s future this season from Laura Mennell. Mennell also talked about some differences in her character between Seasons One and Two, her sci-fi life in Vancouver and more.
What’s in store for Nina
In season one, Nina was benefiting from Dr. Rosen’s [David Strathairn]help, honing her power to "push" (or, influence people to do what she wants), and gaining a surrogate family in the form of her Alpha teammates.
"There’s a big change obviously from last year, arc-wise," said Mennell. "Last year she was in a pretty good space-I mean nothing was perfect but her life was pretty much coming together. With Rosen’s therapy, she was working and she had some walls up, but they were starting to come down, she was having relationships with her team and they were like a really family her.
