Rumor now has it that AMC wants to make a movie version of Robert Kirkman's comic. They've already got a very successful television series — we can easily see how this zombie show could spark a two-hour, extra-gory flick. Bloody Disgusting reports that AMC is pursuing a Walking Dead movie, and points out that the first pitch for a Walking Dead screen adaptation was cinematic.
