Face Off “Force To Be Reckoned With” Review – Buckle In, This Is A Long Review.

Tonight kicks off the third season of the SyFy show Face Off! I am not usually one for reality shows, but let me tell you that I pretty much worship Face Off. This first episode starts out like the previous seasons with us getting to meet the contestants. There are twelve, all various ages and personalities, and right away I formed snapped decisions based on their 30 second intros.

I knew I was not going to enjoy Tommy (a little too precocious for me), Ron was going to be a little too old for the show and not be as modern as the rest of the contestants, Sara and Jason were going to fly under the radar, Laura was going to be a contender, and CC was going to be out before the third episode.

I would like to go on record and state that I was incredibly wrong.

To begin Face Off, the contestants are asked to participate in a “foundation challenge”. Sean Astin is the judge, and the artists are given two hours to complete a fully original work using the materials at their welcome party along with anything that they can find in their make up kits.
