TV ratings: 'America's Got Talent' dips and 'Masterchef' leads in 18-49 Tuesday

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012"America's Got Talent" was still the most-watched show on TV Tuesday night, but its ratings were down some from last week. The dip allowed FOX's "Masterchef," which was up over last week, to claim the top spot among adults 18-49 for the night.ABC, CBS and NBC all covered the Republican National Convention at 10 p.m., with NBC drawing the biggest audience of the three.NBC led the pack in total viewers, averaging 8.15 million and a 4.9 rating/8 share in households in primetime.
