The Voice Recap: Two More Saved By The Steal

Last night on The Voice, the judges continued to pair teammates up, only to have them compete against one another in a sing off type situation known to viewers as the Battle Rounds. These battles have proven to deliver some seriously memorable performances and last night was no exception.

First up in the ring were Team Blake contestants Julio Cesar Castillo, the mariachi singer from Chicago and Terisa Griffin, the soul singer from Louisiana. After Blake revealed that they would be singing Gloria Estefan’s "Conga," Terisa began to suspect that he was catering to Julio and merely looking to get rid of her. During the battle, Terisa came across as a clear powerhouse; however, Julio’s delivery of the melody was more enjoyable to listen to, which led Blake to pick Julio ( maybe Terisa was right afterall).
