TV ratings: 'NCIS' and 'The Voice' up Tuesday but 'New Girl' and 'Emily Owens' drop


Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012The broadcast networks went back to regular programming for the most part on Tuesday (with the exception of news specials on ABC and NBC), and ratings were pretty solid despite the aftereffects of Sandy. Or, in some cases, possibly because of it -- some stations pre-empted their prime-time lineups for storm coverage."NCIS" was up some from last week for CBS, and "The Voice" rose for NBC as well. The news was not as good for FOX's "New Girl" and The CW's "Emily Owens, M.D.," both of which hit season lows. "Happy Endings" and "Don't Trust the B--- in Apt. 23" were also down from their premieres last week.CBS easily led the night in total audience, averaging 15.1 million viewers and a 9.5 rating/14 share in households. NBC (10.8 million, 6.3/10) came in second. ABC (6.9 million, 4.7/7) finished third, topping the 3.8 million viewers and 2.2/3 for FOX....
