Why do you people hate on this show?

I just can not get why so many people think that this show is awful. I think it is probably one of the best shows on television to be honest with all of you. Somebody said in one of their reviews that this show is too over the top dramatic and should include some comedic relief. I think this show does a great job at showing the realities of what it is like to work as an undercover FBI agent, and it also shows that it is not always fun and games while out on the field. So I guess you can say that I am very happy that this show does not include any cheesy, un-necessary comedic relief. I think the show is great the way it is.

btw: I heard that there are two versions of the pilot. One where they edited alot of the cursing, and another where they did not edit any of the cursing.

I might be able to answer your question about why people hate this show. Because Patrick Swayze is typcasted and everyone thought he'd be either a sexy dancer or a sexy martial arts expert. This is a different role for Patrick and everyone knows once you're typecasted it's hard to break out of that. In addition, Patrick is showing some wear and tear here...he's older and recovering from cancer; not looking his best. That's scary to many people because they see themselves in his face. So they automatically don't like the show because they don't want to accept that he's human too. No one was looking forward to this show more than I was, in fact, I entered the sweepstakes prior to the show's premier and won! The gifts were great! However, I have to say that I was disappointed in the beginning with the first few episodes. But I was determined to give it a chance and now I think it's a very worthy show. I do think they could lighten it up just a little bit with some humor maybe, at least once in a while, but I can't fault the acting which is top notch!
