TV ratings: 'Big Bang Theory' gets even bigger; 'X Factor' loses to 'Voice' again


Nothing can stop comedy powerhouse "The Big Bang Theory" which matched series highs in total viewers and a season high in the 18-49 demo on Thursday (Nov. 8) to drive CBS to a decisive victory in both measures.Meanwhile, a special airing of "The Voice" helped give NBC's usual Thursday doldrums a boost. Though the singing competition slipped to a season low, it still easily topped rival FOX's "X Factor" head-to-head in both viewers and 18-49.After a five week hiatus, primarily due to baseball and election coverage, "Glee" returned to a season low in viewers. "Two and a Half Men" (featuring guest star Miley Cyrus), "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation" all hit season highs in viewers.CBS averaged 13.6 million viewers and an 8.6 rating/14 share to dominate primetime in households.
