'Guys With Kids' and 'Elementary' get more episodes, 'Vegas' cut by one

"Guys With Kids" hasn't been picked up for a full season, but it will last longer than its initial 13-episode run.NBC has ordered four more episodes of the Wednesday-night sitcom, bringing its total for the season to 17, Deadline reports. The site also says that CBS has upped the order for "Elementary" from 22 to 24, but it cut back "Vegas" by one episode. Order reductions aren't ever good news for a show, but somehow the idea of "Vegas" having 21 episodes seems appropriate."Guys With Kids" hasn't pulled very big ratings for NBC this fall, but they have at least been consistent. The show is averaging 5.5 million viewers and a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49, with about 20 percent of the viewer count coming from DVR viewing. It usually built on its "Animal Practice" lead-in, although it dropped some from the "Whitney" premiere this week."Elementary" and "Vegas" have both been strong performers for CBS....
