Uh-oh. Downton Abbey Season 3 has already aired overseas, but it premieres on January 6, 2013 on PBS here in the U.S. According to the U.K. tabloid the Sunday Express, a major character may not be returning for all of Season 4. Zap2it quoted Sunday Express's "well-placed production source" on the Downton set, who said, "Dan Stevens isn't returning to the series. He will probably do the first episode of the fourth series, but that will be it."
