THE BROTHERS BELIEF IN HEAVEN,MARY WINCHESTER AND OTHERS.

Once again il start by saying SN is the best show on telly and internet lol, anyway Dean never believed in God till he met castiel, but in earlier episodes like phantom traveller in season1 the demons reacted to Gods name, the bros said Christo(christ in latin) and the demon flinched, furthermore they have used holy water for as long as i can remember, they use crosses and catholic exorscism rituals, so after doing all this, dint the bros think for a second that the word christo, holy water, crosses,e,t,c come from heaven???or they might be another side, besides if there is a hell there has to be a chance of heaven.

I also wanted to address the people who find the notion of 4 angels seeing God hard to swallow, there are classes of angels and the archangels are among the lowest classes of angels and furthermore angels like castiel come below these. The 4 angels who have seen Gods face are the four highermost angels in heaven, they shield Gods true form,no one else ventures there.

On the case of mary winchester,if she was a hunter and she made a deal with azazel years ago, then she knew her time would be up really soon,so why in hell was she so surprised when old yellow eyes showed up 4 sam in the beginning,it was as if she had never seen anything supernatural.

Apart from that take care all you SN fans, the latest spoiler says they will be another sibling or sin for dean and sam,now i hope they wrong coz thats some straight bullshit.

a. he didn't believe that god and the rest will aid themselves the whole supernatural battle. I mean, you saw what the angels are supposed to do, god could just come down, flip the finger and every demon would shat their pants.
he didn't believe in the whole merciful side, helpful side and all that.
the 4 angels who have seen god, im guessing are the 4 archangels of the bible, arcangel michael (angel of death) arcangel gabriel (angel of life, also told holy mary she's gonna have a kid) arcangel raphael (can't remember what he was) and arcangel uriel (angel of light) in which part naming the black angel dude who is really cruel Uriel was wrong on the writters side.
if you knew you would've been shot, you would've gone 'uh-oh' too, not 'ahh there you are'.
apart from a few mistakes in the plot concerning angels and demons naming mainly, dean is just like every other person on this planet who would respect a few sacred things and easily take in the belief of evil but not that easily the belief of good.
you might've met people who will blame god and question his existance but most would name something 'evil' or 'bad' really easy and doubt something good in something. Can be anything, you would believe a product in the supermarket to be bad much easier of it to be good. It's the easy way out.

First of all everything is the last season about the angels and what not has nothing to do with the bible therefore is not going to be correct or completly match up with the bible this is not a religious show. Also the thing about Dean not beliveing in heaven and only in hell makes sense because look at all the evil and demons around them they kill so many people so in Deans mind if there was a god and heaven then he wouldn't let so many innocent people die for no reason. Dean has also seen plenty of demons and supernatural things but he's never seen any angels or anything good in that way(untill the last season) therefore to him there is none of that. Because to him if there would of been angels he would of seen them before along with all the demons he's faught.

As to tinkerbell's comment, if a show claims to take place in Arizona its OK to make up a fictitious name for characters and towns but don't put it on the Atlantic coastline or to put it another way you can make a movie about football in Anytown, USA but don't tell me they use a bat to move the ball. Once you start the Angels and Hell theme you have to follow the Bible rules at least somewhat. As to Dean's belief in God. I think he always believed (or else where did his father go when he busted him out of Hell) but just resented that Heaven didn't get involved in human affairs. I've also wondered why in horror films Priests usually have no backing from Heaven/God when they fight the supernatural forces of Hell. This episode explained why Dean was so angry at being saved while good people seem forsaken. Maybe he's wondering if he is worth saving after enjoying his job in Hell would God also forgive and forget the worst-once human demons on Earth too (including Ruby and all of the ones that they have fought) without even offering repentance?
