The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Review “My Brother’s Keeper” — Yes Sire, No Sire

I say this with all the love in the world: screw you, The Vampire Diaries. ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ was the episode in which Elena finally acknowledged that she’s okay with being a vampire. It was when the hunter of the Five plot got knocked up a gear with Jeremy becoming a danger to his sister. And it was when Elena and Damon finally became a thing. One of these displeases me greatly, and it’s the one you would least expect from a confessed Elena/Damon shipper, dear reader.

The rest of the episode was pretty good. It was time for the annual Miss Mystic Falls pageant and the Scrappies were all involved because everybody loves town bonding. It was a way to keep everyone occupied and an excuse put Caroline and Klaus together for that date she promised him (which was adorable, by the way) and to supposedly push Tywolf (nickname!) and Hayley closer together. But as we saw at the end of the episode, Hayley is actually working with Prof Shane. They’re de-siring hybrids so they can use them for their own nefarious purposes, whatever that may be.
