Just the other day we reported here that actor Dan Stevens, who plays fan favorite character Matthew Crawley on the much beloved mini-series Downton Abbey, could potentially not be returning for the fourth season of the series, which has yet to even be filmed.
But it would seem, at least where an article from The Hollywood Reporter is concerned, that his departure news could be somewhat premature.
Let’s allow executive producer Gareth Neame to explain, "there’s been so much speculation about this cast; the thing with the show is, because we don’t make a long run — we shoot about 11 hours of TV a year — our actors have the opportunity to go and do other work".
