TV ratings: CBS back from reruns earns huge win Thursday


Fast National ratings for Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013Some primetime shows are already back from reruns and the ratings definitely reflect the new programming, handing CBS a huge win. "The Big Bang Theory" posted its highest ratings ever with nearly 19 million viewers and a 6.0 rating in the 18-49 demo, which matches an all-time high. "Two and a Half Men" posted a season high, while "Person of Interest" had a series high and "Elementary" had its largest audience since the premiere.Granted, all other networks were more or less in reruns, save two episodes of "Mobbed" on FOX, but still -- big night for CBS.The Eye averaged 14.9 million viewers and a 9.0 rating/14 share in households for the win, which beats all other networks combined.
