The New A&E Network Drama ‘Bates Motel’ to Debut in March

The A&E network will debut the new original scripted drama series Bates Motel – the prequel (of sorts) to the classic box office film ‘Psycho’ on March 18 at 10/9c.

The series comes from executive producers Carlton Cuse (‘Lost’) and Kerry Ehrin (‘Friday Night Lights’) and is expected to give viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ – to be played by Brit actor Freddie Highmore, best known for his work in the films ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and ‘Finding Neverland’ – psyche unravels through his teenage years.
