That was the best episode of the 2nd season! I really really really hope there's more to it. Did Cameron recognize John in the end? And how come no one knew John's name?
I hope that wasn't the last one

because john just got there. He will now send his dad back in time to protect his mom, and it all starts again. End of story.
because john wasnt born yet.
Your probably right jitney. Nice ending if there is no new season. But maybe its more simple. John Connor went forwards in time and wasn't around to lead the humans when it all kicked off! Therefore, John Connor who?.....maybe
yeah, they went forward in time, even though the numbers appeared to be going down - or was i just seeing things?so basically because they went forward in time there was no John Connor to lead them so really i guess he didn't exist so thats why they don't know him... But that just throws the entire terminator story line out of wack. So hopefully the writers get it back to normal. Not complaining though brilliant episode :)
exactly how can they end the series on that note. I really don't think this is the end of Sarah Connor Chronicles. Maybe it will be called something else?
I think they did it so it will be on the same timeline as the terminator movie...
i don't think that was "Cameron" at the end, I think it was "Allison (from Palmdale)"-a human.
I too believe we did not see Cameron at the end, but instead Allison. If John had basically erased his existence as it was meant be by placing himself forward in time, then it would stand to reason that without John Connor there would be no Cameron (at least the Cameron we know, who stole Allison's identity and was then reprogrammed to protect John). In a world where none of these events took place, Allison would still be alive. Besides, the girl was human-like as she was playing with a dog and had a hint of a smile on her face.
It was clearly not cameron the cyborg, at the end, it was allison, if that was her name; The dogs go off at cyborgs...And -by the way- the idea with all bringing it back to the original timeline is nice, zrach...
The show can't end here... There are too many questions left: who is weaver? - who programmed her? - I mean: it wasn't [future] John Connor... it was a third party, the one they met down in the ocean in "the last voyage of the jimmy carter"... if it is a second AI - who did build it in the first place? - how could it happen, that it survived the holocaust? - emerging at the same time as skynet, not coming out top, and still not going down (quite some miracle...) And what did it do, until it kicked in the story?!?And what about Sarah? - why didn't she join John?... What about John Henry? - he cannot download all that he is in just one chip (and even exchanging just one wire, was supposed to be some change about Henry over all, like the technician wanted us viewers to believe)!... so - weaver left him unprotected in the past (for skynet to "find" his brother to kill him, or even swallow him up?!?)? - where did "john henry" (the shell with Camerons chip) go? - and why following it? - WHY?!?... and, by the way: why flying the prototype into the building in some suicide mission?!? - not very effective, to say the least! (ok - that last one is probably just bad story writing...)and, one rethorical question last but not least: why meeting his father and is uncle in the future [, if not for the chance of some "new" storyline]...
I'm sorry Joker19, But did you see how they left Las Vegas? I don't think the network cares that much about a satisfying conclusion.
I loved the episode and hope the bring terminator back.
I loved it!!!!!!!!!!In the first terminator movie, kyle metions that a guy stood up to the terminators - when they were in work camps or something like that, that it was John Connor and he started the resistance. so I think zrach is right.
@ zrach & Nilu_86: I think you are both right about john...John Connor started the Resistance after Judgment Day, so i believe that nobody knows him yet, because he will become the leader now...maybe all the things happened in the past lead to this time travel, and without it, there maybe would have never been a resistance...just think about it. And we all know that the series ignores the third movie completely (cameron says to sarah, that she would have died of breast cancer...a few years BEFORE the timeline of the third movie...so the series acts like the third movie never existed).
@Joker19 - can't help you with all your questions, but i do know that Sarah joined John in the end (in the last few seconds, you can see someone else doing a time travel, and then you can hear sarahs voice saying "I love you too", so i think that time-traveling-light we saw at the end was Sarah, who came after John)
i really hope fox picks up a third season - this series just keeps getting better and better!
Personally I think weaver is a more advanced terminator created by other terminators and given the ability to freely choose and rationalize without following Skynet. She is a T-1001 with a similar body composition to the T-1000 but that one extra digit leads one to believe that in some way she is more advanced. She is similar to the humanoid models on BSG being that she can think for herself. That is why she is creating John Henry, another machine who can think rationally and with morals, ethics, and a respect for human life; even more so than herself. I think the other reason why she came back to the past was to live among humans and to understand them better, don't forget she actually TRIED to be a mother to Savannah and learn morality from Ellison.
Well i actually think that Sarah does not come through, its effective to split up Sarah and John make him accept who has to be.As to why no one recognised John even Brian Austin Green says in his latest interview, it because its a alternate timeline. In this one John was never there to lead mankind after judgement day, he is completely unknown. This also means Kyle Reese and Derek Reese are both alive as is Alison who Cameron was the copy of.Basically the Chip in Camerons head is significantly more advanced than our pc's and as such can handle alot more information so its possible that John Henry can be downloaded into it.I would believe that the third season would focus on him hunting for John Henry and also trying to learn from Kyle and Derek without maybe telling them who he is. Also the Character of Alison someone he knows but doesn't how will he handle that. Plus you have Weaver whats she going to do obviously she wants to protect and help John and find John Henry how will she fit in.
Lots to answer in season 3.
Unofficially, there will be no 3rd season. I'm so bummed.
Well still no actual news and Fox themselves has said they are looking at all figures, there talking DVR, DVD sales, Amazon online sales and itunes sales etc..
