It was a double dose of "The Office" this week, and I must say, I was actually looking forward to it this time. This season has steadily improved as its worn on, and has really been upping its game in the funny department, while taking some admitted, not-always successful risks dramatically. Of course, any full-on drama in what amounts to a glorified sitcom is a risk, but if it works, well, you get something like "Louie," which is obviously awesome, and if not, well, more often than not you get cancelled. "The Office" is in the enviable position of having nothing left to lose- after all, as the ads proudly proclaim, this is the final season. Why not go for broke?
