Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse for Dawson, it has. I’m not so sure I agree with her decisions, either. Anyway, we’ll get into that in this review of Chicago Fire, “Nazdarovya!”
Pulling a Gabby: The title, which actually deals with a scene concerning Herrmann’s bar, is juxtaposed to the real threat in this episode, which stems from Dawson’s storyline. Thankfully, Antonio survives, but she decides to get into her brother Antonio’s vice/narcotics case when a detective tells her he’s out for Antonio’s badge. To him, Antonio “went way off the reservation” with the case since some lines between vice and narcotics have been crossed. She also finds out Antonio’s family has been threatened, so they’re now under protective custody. So, in true Dawson fashion, she goes a little “off the reservation” herself and gets in bed with the now incarcerated Det. Voight.
