New CW Drama ‘Cult’ Shifting to Friday Nights

The new drama Cult has only aired two episodes of its debut season and already it is being assigned the dreaded death slot for network programming: Friday nights at 9 PM, starting on March 8.

This is not a good sign at all for the new series about Jeff Sefton (played by ‘The Vampire Diaries’ alum Matt Davis), an investigative journalist who is searching for his missing brother, uncovering the dark underworld of the TV show "Cult" and its rabid fans. The cast of ‘Cult’ includes Jessica Lucas (’90210?), Alona Tal (‘Supernatural’) and Robert Knepper (‘Prison Break’).
