John Oliver to replace Jon Stewart on 'The Daily Show' over the summer

For two months this summer, Comedy Central is going to be airing "The Daily Show with John Oliver," not "Jon Stewart." Stewart will be taking a hiatus in order to film his directorial debut, and John Oliver is the man who will fill in his place. Deadline reports that Stewart will be taking a 12 week break to focus on filming his new movie "Rosewater," and that Oliver will serve as "guest host" for eight of those weeks. Oliver is a regular on the comedy news program, so it will be interesting to see him take a leading role. "Rosewater" is an adaptation of BBC journalist Maziar Bahari's book "Then They Came For Me: A Family's Story of Love, Captivity and Survival."
