'Nikki & Sara Live!'s' Nikki Glaser gives University of Kansas quite the recommendation

Zap2it: How did you start stand-up?Nikki Glaser: I started at 18 or 19 and have been doing it ever since. I did theater in high school and loved it. I didn't have a passion for [stand-up], and I stumbled upon it. And when I went away to college, people told me I was funny and should start stand-up. I Googled it. I grew up watching Leno and Conan and Letterman, but I didn't really have an affinity for stand-up, mainly because I did not see many females doing it.
