Shameless Season 3 Review “Where There’s a Will”

There’s so much more to this guardian business than Fiona might have realized in this week’s Shameless, ‘Where There’s a Will’, since she doesn’t just have to deal with the normal kind of Gallagher problems. After Patrick filed the will for Aunt Ginger last week, the whole clan find themselves with an eviction hanging over their heads, and Fiona finds out how far each of her siblings will go to stop this from happening. Kudos (or not, if you have any sort of moral compass) to Debbie and Carl this week, as they get the furthest towards solving the problem. Carl, though thankfully unsuccessful, tries to poison Patrick and get his out of the picture for good, while Debbie delves into her bag of tricks and pulls out a phoney molestation charge. It’s hard to feel sorry for a man who was willing to evict a household full of kids with a day’s notice, but it’s still a little harsh. Fiona just looks on in disbelief at the kids she’s been raising, even going so far as to call Carl a sociopath. Truer words have never been spoken. READ MORE...

Really interested to see the how the Frank-Christopher storyline develops. Their association is a perfect match made in hell, and in fact I'm loving the basic setup of Christopher already - the clingy guy pretending to be an addict so he can latch on to people. Of course Frank is going to stay with him! ha.

The scene where Frank first shows up at Christopher's apartment and starts looking around and is getting freaked out by all the taxidermy (only to be distracted by a meatball sub) was awesome, also glad that they used a playful song like "Keep It Coming" by Letters to set the mood fo that bizarre, surreal little moment of comedy/dread. Definitely classic Shameless.
