The jury is still out for the moment on the future of NBC’s UP ALL NIGHT, but with Christina Applegate’s sour departure from the cast, Will Arnett’s new CBS comedy pilot, and Maya Rudolph’s pregnancy, it’s looking less and less likely that NBC will ever realize the switch to a multi-camera format the network envisions for the show. That proposed creative change is what drove Applegate and creator Emily Spivey away from the series, and it may end up reducing the already reduced episode order from one to zero. UP ALL NIGHT as we know it is definitely no more, but whether we see a distant cousin show up later in the year remains to be seen. Arnett, meanwhile, will be making his way onto Netflix screens starting in May, when he reprises his role as Gob Bluth on the highly anticipated new season of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT.
