George R.R. Martin has a cameo in 'Game of Thrones' Season 3

George R.R. Martin didn't spend all his time working behind the scenes during Season 3 of "Game of Thrones." It turns out he also was in front of the camera as well, and will have a not-yet-disclosed cameo appearance in the upcoming 10 episodes. "You will see him," co-showrunner David Benioff told Deadline. It was revealed at the Los Angeles "Evening with 'Game of Thrones'" that Martin already had cameoed in the original "Game of Thrones" pilot, but since "90 percent of the pilot was re-shot," his appearance "ended up on the cutting room floor." This isn't the first time Martin has had a small appearance in an "A Song of Ice and Fire"-inspired property: He also has a cameo in the "Game of Thrones" video game released in 2012. In it, the "Game of Thrones" author appears as Maester Martin. It would be fun for him to make a similar appearance in Season 3....
