'Vegas' bumped to Saturday in bad sign for CBS drama

Struggling first year drama "Vegas" has been bumped to Saturday this week to make room for a CBS News special on the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.It's not unusual for breaking news to impact a network's regularly scheduled programming, but it's telling that CBS chose to bump tonight's 9 p.m. "Vegas" -- the only series with a fresh episode scheduled to air on the network -- instead of the repeat "Undercover Boss" or "Hawaii Five-0" episodes airing at 8 and 10 p.m. ET, respectively.Rather than holding the new episode for a later date, CBS is hastily dumping it on Saturday (April 20) night at 8 p.m. That's not a good sign at all for one of the few CBS series still awaiting word on a renewal for next season. Given the show's declining ratings, especially in its shift to Friday nights, "Vegas" is considered a major long-shot to make it to Season 2 and this move...
