'Downton Abbey' Season 4 'preview' in musical from 54 Below

The folks at 54 Below, a Broadway hotspot where performers from the Great White Way take the stage as patrons dine in an elegant setting, has taken on "Downton Abbey" in this musical send-up.Colin Mochrie of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" is creator Julian Fellowes, letting us all know that this is the Season 4 premiere episode. "The fans of 'Downton Abbey' got their knickers in a knot because of Series 3 'car trouble,' so I made a call to my mentor Shondra Rimes and she said, 'Make a musical.'" says Mochie, as Fellowes. What follows is a terribly funny spoof of, and commentary on, everyone's favorite British import.The actors playing Michelle Dockery as Mary and Allen Leech as Branson sing a duet lamenting their dear, departed significant others while clutching their babies, then later Sybil appears in ghost form -- and Matthew doesn't. "I suppose he broke his feet jumping off the bandwagon!"...
