Bravo threatens to cancel 'Real Housewives of New York' over salary standoff - Is that such a bad thing?

Bravo's ladies of the Big Apple might soon find themselves out of a job if all six cast members of "The Real Housewives of New York City" continue to balk at the new contracts presented by the network.The Hollywood Reporter, err, reports that the network has threatened to pull the plug on the venerable series, the second-oldest in the franchise, if the ladies don't come around. A source says that stars LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson have all refused to sign. "What's currently on the table is unacceptable," a source close to the women says.Production on the show's sixth season was due to begin on Wednesday (May 8), but none of the women showed.
