'Go On' canceled as NBC comedy purge continues

NBC's house-cleaning at its comedy division continues: First-year series "Go On" has been canceled.As things stand now, only one of the 11 comedies NBC aired this season, "Parks and Recreation," will return in 2013-14. The fates of "Community" and "Go On's" Tuesday companion "The New Normal" have yet to be decided."Go On" starred Matthew Perry as Ryan King, a radio host who enters grief therapy after his wife dies and comes to rely on the assorted oddballs in the group and its well-meaning but underqualified leader, Lauren (Laura Benanti).
