'Southland' canceled: Season 6 not picked up by TNT, but there might be a movie!

TNT has canceled underrated Los Angeles cop drama "Southland" after five seasons on the air. The drama, which aired for one season on NBC before being picked up by TNT, starred Ben McKenzie and Michael Cudlitz. "TNT has made the difficult decision not to renewSouthland for another season," the network says in a statement. "We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made. Executive producers John Wells, Chris Chulack and Jonathan Lisco, along with creator Ann Biderman and our partners at Warner Bros. Television, have given us five seasons of powerful, unforgettable storytelling, for which we are deeply grateful. Good bye south land you will be missed I hope there is a 2 hour proper series end to this show. If Not then it goes out as it came in with a bang. Coop getting shot by cops, Ben fucking up and allowing himself to be a shady cop and break the bond he had with Sammy, and Sammy putting Ben in that situation in the first place.

This show was so gritty as gritty as hill st blues and Nypd to bad their will not be a 6th season.
