I had originally intended just to review the actual final-final Season 1 Elementary episode, "Heroine," but these two episodes pretty much blended together into one giant Irene Adler/Moriarty story and it felt wrong to separate them. In fact, I'd invite die-hard BBC Sherlock fans to check out this two-parter (and maybe last week's chapter too since it led up to it) as it felt like the kind of mini-movie episodes that show produces. Look, I'm a big BBC Sherlock fan, but I also enjoy Elementary and its wholly different take on the mythos. Sure, 24-episode seasons don't really do anyone any favors overall, but I think this series has done a good job in using all those episodes to build, develop and, thusly, change the Holmes/Watson relationship.
