Pedro Almodóvar’s hilarious new comedy, I’m So Excited, takes flying to new heights as his flamboyant characters embark on an unusual journey fueled by alcohol, sexual desire and the fear of imminent death. From take-off until emergency landing, fate weaves an unpredictable thread linking the passengers with other characters, and the plane’s tiny galley and cockpit become the settings for some of the movie’s funniest scenes.
