Fall TV Preview: Introducing ABC's "The Whole Truth"

Next up on our list of Fall Preview highlights is ABC's The Whole Truth, which is the latest courtroom drama that just may be a bit different from the rest! Check out what the upcoming series is all about and why it might be worth checking out next season.

Airs: Wednesdays at 10/9c on ABC

Notable Stars: Rob Morrow (Numb3rs), Maura Tierney (Rescue Me), who has recently replaced Joely Richardson

Synopsis: Kathryn Peale is the Deputy Bureau Chief in the New York State District Attorney's office, while Jimmy Brogan is one of New York's rising criminal attorney stars. These evenly-matched, competitive lawyers go about creating two different stories from the same set of facts. Through his up-close, behind-the-scenes look at the legal process, it becomes evident that at the end of every trial, the only thing that matters is what the jury believes.

Why Watch? This unique two-sided approach (directed by Jerry Bruckheimer) just may be a refreshing take on the tried-and-true courtroom show (the lawyer trend never dies), as it presents both sides of a case and challenges the audience to form their own conclusions. Of course, this requires you to actually think while watching TV, so if you're not into multitasking, this show may not be for you.
