'Glee': Season 5 premiere delayed following Cory Monteith's death

The Season 5 premiere of "Glee" is moving back a week as the cast and producers continue to deal with the death of their colleague Cory Monteith.The show had been scheduled to return to FOX on Thursday, Sept. 19. Following Monteith's death on July 13, though, the show has pushed back the start of production, so the season premiere will now air at 9 p.m. ET Sept. 26."In light of the tragic passing of beloved 'Glee' cast member Cory Monteith, the series' executive producers, 20thCentury Fox Television and Fox Broadcasting Company have jointly decided to delay the start of production of 'Glee' until early August," the network says in a statement. "... No further details are available at this time."The network also notes several charities Monteith was involved in -- Chrysalis, the Project Limelight Society and Virgin Unite -- are accepting donations in his name....
