Glee's Ryan Murphy Reveals Plans for Delayed Premiere & Season 5 Tribute Episode to Cory Monteith
Well, you know what they say -- the show must go on. Glee creator Ryan Murphy has broken his silence regarding his season 5 plans in light of Cory Monteith's tragic death, revealing to The Hollywood Reporter that he has a tribute episode in the works to honor the late actor. "The right thing to do is to have that character pass," Murphy confirmed. In addition to pushing back the premiere to September 26th, the "upbeat" tribute is currently planned for the third episode of the season, following the much-anticipated Beatles themed episode. In response to suggestions that FOX should simply cancel the series altogether, Murphy said, "Ultimately, we decided the best thing for everyone is to get back to work and be around people who knew him and loved him so that everyone can grieve together." Though he gave Lea Michele the option to leave the show completely, the actress reportedly said that was simply "not an option." Do you think Ryan Murphy is making the right decision for the show?
