UNDER THE DOME: "IMPERFECT CIRCLES" REVIEW

After two episodes in a row of Under the Dome (thankfully) finding its footing by actively raising the stakes, I was ready for the bottom to give out. Like it did before with the episodes that followed the premiere. I especially wasn't looking forward to "Imperfect Circles" because I knew ahead of time that it contained a pregnant woman going into labor unexpectedly, and at an an ill-opportune moment. And that's become such a cliche that it rarely makes for good TV. In fact, with the random fires, plagues and fugitive chases that the top of the season held, I'm surprised this card wasn't already played. And as it was, it still popped up out of nowhere; with us all just now being introduced to Julia's very pregnant next-door neighbor, Harriet, for the first time.
