NBC renews 'Hollywood Game Night' for Season 2, hosted by Jane Lynch

NBC has renewed "Hollywood Game Night," the network announced on Tuesday (August 20). Season 2 will be 10 episodes long, and will also see the return of host Jane Lynch.The Thursday night game show -- which allows two contestants each week to step beyond the velvet rope and rub shoulders with some of their favorite celebrities as they compete in a game night -- was created by Sean Hayes, whobased the series on his real-life game nights."'Hollywood Game Night' allows the audience to take a seat on the couch next to their favorite celebrities and enjoy the pandemonium and exuberance of the colorful cast of celebrities in each episode," Paul Telegdy, NBC's President of Alternative and Late Night Programming, said in a press release.
