Allison Williams Promises 'Lighthearted' Season 3 For 'Girls'

Things got kind of dark during the second season of "Girls," but star Allison Williams promises that’s all going to change next season.

"I think it’s a very funny season. I think it’s pretty lighthearted, but also it’s just the third year in a row you get to see these girls, so I think people have gotten to know us pretty well by now and so you get to see different dimensions of all of us,” she explained to MTV News on the red carpet at the VMAs, where she looked quite fierce in her white dress.

Among the shakeups next season: Allison’s Marnie will have to say goodbye for good to her on-screen love, Charlie, now that Christopher Abbott is no longer on the show. And she promises that that break-up will lead to some good TV. Read More...
